Disappointing.....
The Guess Who, while they played and sang the songs well, had a 10 minute+ dueling guitar solo during one of the songs that really was not interesting at all. The drummer was the ONLY original member, with the other guys just some musicians that played the songs. Yeah, they could play, but who really cared. It would have been better just to play another hit song.
Ben Schwartz, on the other hand, had just about all the original musicians and singers, but sonically the pseudo Guess Who sounded better. Maybe it was because 3 Dog Night had all the old guys and the fake Guess Who had all the young guys (except for the old drummer). The PA was more dialed in for harmonies and instruments for the fake Guess Who than for 3 Dog Night.
The concert started around 8pm, completely over by 10:30 due to "Sound Curfew." Overall, disappointing.
